Might Today Show viewers need to prepare themselves for a second major shake-up in the near future?

Just a few months ago, Hoda Kotb stunned fans of this morning program when she announced she would be exiting her role as co-host.

"I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60, and to try something new," Kotb said on air. "I decided that this is the right time for me to kind of move on."

With Kotb's colleagues reacting to this news by honoring the reporter via a number of statements, the attention has now turned to another personality who has been part of the TODAY cast for years.

Might Al Roker retire some time soon?!?

"You know when you know," the beloved weatherman simply told People Magazine of this major decision while at the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston.

"That was the kind of the beautiful thing for Hoda. You even look at…Joe Biden. It's like, everybody has a reason that they decide it's time to go."

Roker can't say for certain when he'll make his final forecast, however.

"I don't feel like that's my time yet, but who knows. Maybe a year or two. Maybe not, but I'm enjoying it. I love this," the 70-year old continued. "You don't get off the train until the last stop."

Back in 2020, Roker revealed he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Thankfully, however, the weatherman has recovered and his health doesn't need to be considered right now when it comes to his future.

Roker told People he is "just so thrilled for [Kotb] that I can't possibly feel any sadness" days after she shared the news of her departure.

The long-time host will soon have a chance to spend a lot more time with her young children.

She'll also be remaining within the NBC family, even after she peaces out from TODAY.

"I'm very fortunate in that I've watched my kids grow up," Roker told People.

"Especially when Courtney was younger, I was in local news, so I was home in the morning with my kids. But she's got two young daughters, Haley and Hope…

"Those moments, those kids grow up. I mean, it's cliché, but because it's true. It's like you blink. So I understand exactly why she did it."

Savannah is mourning her late father.

While grieving her dad, she is also sharing the "gift" that he gave her alongside his passing.

Savannah Blackstock Lee is mourning her father

On Tuesday, August 19, Savannah Blackstock Lee, daughter of Brandon Blackstock, took to her Instagram page to share a heart-shattering tribute.

"My daddy never fell short of making my dreams come true," she began.

"No matter how high or how far, he made a way."

Savannah gushed: "Not only did he make my dreams come true, he chased them with me."

"Worldwide he was there, my biggest cheerleader," Savannah characterized her late father. "He is my best friend, my voice of reason, and my favorite phone call every day."

She continued: "Over the past 6 months my dad gifted me a new avenue of our relationship, and that was a relationship centered in Jesus. He always loved the Lord, but 6 months ago he sought the Lord."

Savannah went on to characterize how, perhaps anticipating the end of his life, her father had doubled down upon his Christian beliefs.

"He was hungry for the word and we did it together."

What 'gift' did Brandon Blackstock give his 23-year-old daughter?

"He's gifted me more than I could've asked for and deserved throughout my life," Savannah continued of father Brandon Blackstock.

"But 12 days ago," she continued, "he blessed me the most valuable gift I could've asked for."

No, this was not a gauche reference to some sort of financial inheritance upon his passing.

Rather, Savannah explained, she possesses:

"The gift of knowing where he is today, in Heaven with our Savior."

"I lost a piece of my heart and my favorite Cowboy, but Heaven gained an angel," Savannah wrote in her caption.

"I'm so thankful for the time I did have," she expressed, "and I can't wait for eternity."

Savannah concluded: "I love you daddy and I will miss you indefinitely. Enjoy your ranch up there, God designed it with your heart's desires in mind."

Make no mistake: she misses her late father

Not all Christians agree on heaven — the Christian afterlife. But it is a widespread belief within the religion that adherents will reunite after death.

It has also, historically, been one of the faith's major selling points.

Whether Brandon Blackstock delved into this aspect of his religious beliefs for his own sake, his daughter's, or both, it's clear that he has brought a measure of comfort to Savannah despite this loss.

Obviously, she is still grieving. But she is mourning her father within the context of her theological beliefs, like countless millions of others do.

She lived through it. As with her brush with death from nearly three years ago, she's sharing her experience.

On top of the frightening injuries, the scariest part may be that she doesn't remember what happened.

Losing memory is always unsettling. But when you lose teeth and don't remember how, you're living a nightmare.

What happened to Tamar Braxton?

Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 19, Tamar Braxton revealed that she had awoken in a pool of blood.

Whatever mysterious thing took place, it left her with a fractured nose — and missing teeth.

"I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me," Braxton wrote.

"And honestly, I can't even really talk anymore, I'm so weak."

"I almost died Sunday," Braxton revealed gravely.

"I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury," she shared.

"As the days go by the worse it is," Braxton admitted.

"I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility."

'I don't even know what happened to me'

"The way I look at life now is totally different," Tamar Braxton went on to inform her followers.

"As my health is on the mend, my mental journey begins," she pronounced.

"Pray for me for real," Braxton asked. She then emphasized:

"I don't even know what happened to me."

In a separate Instagram Story post, Braxton shared: "Thank you God for waking me up today."

She shared a photo highlighting Proverbs 31 from the Christian holy book.

The verse refers to expectations of what makes a good king and expectations, within the Abrahamic faiths, of what constitutes a worthy wife.

Hopefully, she will share more when she knows what happened

It is unclear if this is relevant to her current events.

For one thing, to the best of anyone's knowledge, Tamar Braxton is currently single.

Her most recent ex was Jeremy "JR" Robinson. They were engaged not once, but twice.

It is possible that the verse itself is less important than the gratitude that she feels towards her God that she's still alive.

Bryan Kohberger Said Victim’s Name Before Brutal Murder, Survivor Reveals

Last month, Bryan Kohberger pled guilty to the 2022 murders of four Idaho college students.

While the families could rest easy in the knowledge that the killer would spend the rest of his life behind bars, the plea deal meant that there would be no trial — which meant that many lingering questions would remain unanswered.

But now that Kohberger has been sentenced, new information is emerging about that tragic night.

New evidence suggests Kohberger targeted Kaylee Goncalves

The family of Kaylee Goncalves has long claimed that she was stalked and specifically targeted by Kohberger, and her murder was not as random as investigators made it seem.

Newly released transcripts of an Idaho State Police interview with the sole survivor of the attacks indicate that Kaylee's loved ones may have been correct.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the witness heard Kohberger say, "It's okay, Kaylee. I'm here for you" during the murders.

Moments later, she saw a masked man standing in her kitchen.

TMZ also reports that Kohberger appears to have left face and hand prints while peering through a window of the house, another possible indication that he stalked his victims in advance.

"The only thing more disturbing than the murder of your child is hearing that the killer called out her name while committing this heinous act — and then discovering the prosecutor deliberately hid this fact from the families," Kaylee's father, Steve Goncalves, told the site.

The grieving father went on to slam the court system in Latah County as corrupt, and he asked how anyone can justify "protecting such savagery in the name of justice."

"Kaylee knew she was being hunted — yet no one in that town lifted a finger to stop it," Goncalves said.

The latest news about Kohberger's behavior comes on the heels of the revelation that a professor at Washington State University — where the killer was a PhD student — warned her colleagues about his troubling behavior.

"He is smart enough that in four years we will have to give him a PhD," the professor remarked, according to the New York Post.

"Mark my word, I work with predators, if we give him a PhD, that's the guy that in those many years when he is a professor, we will hear is harassing, stalking, and sexually abusing … his students at whatever university," she continued.

Kohberger is currently serving four life sentences and will never be eligible for parole.

The victims' families complaints about the handling of the investigation may lead to legal action sometime in near the future.

Jenelle Evans Lashes Out at Son Jace After He Exposes Text Messages, Accuses Her of Being …

Jenelle Evans recently moved halfway across the country in order to escape the scandal and controversy of her life in North Carolina.

But her troubles followed her all the way to Las Vegas.

In a shocking turn of events, Jenelle's 16-year-old son, Jace Evans, has posted sceeenshots of text messages he allegedly received from his mom.

And not surprisingly, Jenelle doesn't come off as a candidate for Mother of the Year.

Jace says he wants to return to North Carolina following abusive texts from Jenelle

According to a report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup, Jace posted a series of screenshots on his Instagram page on Tuesday.

"I am finally putting out how my mother really is," he captioned one post.

"I need to go back to NC. She is just r[ea]lly unstable," he wrote alongside another.

"I don't need you, you don't need me and I don't understand why ur doing this just because I'm telling the truth," Jace wrote to his mom in one text. "Ur crazy."

"Your[e] the one saying you're going to have my custody taken. F–K YOU," Jenelle allegedly replied.

From there, Jenelle accused Jace of lying when he claimed he'd been strangled by former stepfather David Eason in 2023.

"Just like the way you lied about David strangling you," Jenelle allegedly wrote to Jace. "You make things worse on yourself."

"I never lied," Jace replied. "He tried to do [that s–t]."

"I was standing right there and have the Ring camera videos," Jenelle allegedly wrote back.

"OK nice yea u were standing there yelling in my face cussing me out just watching things happen," Jace replied.

"But go ahead and test me," Jenelle allegedly wrote back, adding, "So keep it up and I'll make ONE phone call," Jenelle allegedly wrote, before telling Jace, "You won't get a damn thing from me anymore including a phone."

Shortly after the posts were deleted, Jenelle issued a statement in which she claimed that Jace was upset about being "rightfully disciplined."

"Jace posting our private texts was his reaction to being rightfully disciplined," Jenelle wrote, adding:

"While it hurts to see those moments shared publicly, I know it comes from a place of struggle. Navigating Jace's different medical diagnoses has not been easy but I have never stopped fighting to make sure he has the resources, love and support he needs…

Jenelle went on to state that she will "always stand by" Jace, "no matter what challenges come our way and I will continue to work on being the best mom I can be to all three of my kids."

She then asked her followers for "empathy, kindness and prayers."

Earlier this year, Jenelle sent Jace to Florida to live with his father, whom he barely knew.

The arrangement didn't last long, and Jenelle later claimed that she'd brought Jace back to Vegas after learning that his father was "not sober."

Needless to say, it's been a rocky few years for the teen. We hope that the adults in his life will be able to provide him with some stability soon.

Jillian Michaels Fires Back at “Egregious” Claims in Netflix Biggest Loser …

Jillian Michaels is fighting mad.

On August 19, the fitness trainer took to Instagram in order to deny many of the claims made about her in Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser, a Netflix documentary that covers the competition show's supposed missteps.

The program features behind-the-scenes details about some of the decisions made by its cast, crew and showrunners during its 18-season run.

In short? It makes it sound as if Michaels and others high up at The Biggest Loser forced contestants into dangerous weight loss methods.

In the three-episode docuseries, Dr. Robert Huizenga — The Biggest Loser's medical adviso — says Michaels often ignored his medical advice.

At another point in the show, Michaels is accused of restricting contestants from eating enough calories," prompting her to share a screenshot from a 2010 email between herself and a contestant about how many calories to consume.

"I have an example of a direct written correspondence with a contestant, while she was home for the holidays during filming," Michaels wrote in the caption, "in which I explicitly instructed her to consume 1,600 calories per day."

Michaels shared two more alleged screenshots with The Biggest Loser staffers that emphasized her "ongoing priority of ensuring contestants were adequately nourished and the need to provide a steady supply of fresh food in the BL house to guarantee ready access to calories."

"Here is an email chain with @bobharper – the Biggest Loser's producers – @drhuizenga's guy, Sandy Krum, who stayed on set with us and distributed the fat burners about which 'fat burners' / caffeine pills to purchase the contestants," Michaels also wrote.

"This is one email of many that shows: Dr. Huizenga did approve caffeine pills on many seasons of Biggest Loser. Bob Harper not only knew about the caffeine pills the 'stackers fat burner' were actually his suggestion.

"I wanted to use my brand instead because they were cleaner and had no more than 200mg of caffeine (equivalent to a strong cup of coffee). Caffeine was NEVER banned on The Biggest Loser.

Michaels added:

"Wild how some folks still lie like it's 1985 before texts and email were a thing."

Indeed, Jillian is saying she has receipts.

Following her social media tirade, Michaels told TMZ in a phone interview that she is considering filing a lawsuit. She said the docuseries is "so egregious and so damaging that I don't think I have a choice."

Michaels was a big part of The Biggest Loser when it premiered in 2004, starring as the coach of the Red Team and competing against Harper's Blue Team.

She worked on the show on and off for a decade before leaving for good in 2014.

The reality show challenged contestants to lose weight through diet and exercise, awarding a prize of $250,000 to the individual who lost the most weight..
