The post’s creator was Jenny Mollen, a comedian and — more importantly — a mom.

Whatever her intentions, her mother-son PDA had some people calling for an investigation.

‘The most toxic guy you will ever date’

Late last week, Mollen took to Facebook to share a series of photos featuring her and her 12-year-old son on a bed.

She and actor Jason Biggs welcomed their firsborn, Sid, back in February 2014.

In the photos of the now-deleted post, Mollen shared photos of her holding her son, seeming to lie between his legs.

Different families have different ways of expressing love. Some hold hands while watching a movie. Some kiss on the mouth. There’s a lot of variety.

But lying between her tween son’s legs was not, it turned out, the most eyebrow-raising part of the post.

Mollen’s post indicated that she was listening to “’03 Bonnie & Clyde” by Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

Speaking of toxic couples, the comedian’s caption is what really drew people’s ire.

“Your eldest son will be the most toxic guy you ever date,” Mollen wrote.

The PDA is one thing. The caption is another.

The two in conjunction had people on virtually every social media platform calling for an actual investigation, seemingly accusing Mollen of some sort of wrongdoing.

Many people just saw this as a random ‘boymom’ post

To be clear, many — perhaps most — of those who saw this image saw it robbed of its context.

Many versions of the screenshot of the (now deleted) post did not even include the name of the poster.

And (with all due respect to Ms. Mollen) not everyone knows who she is.

Seeing that a comedian posted something like that might make you wince at a joke that didn’t land as intended.

Seeing that a random woman posted it might make you worry. Or, at the very least, it seems unintentionally funny, like that “a girlfriend is a sister you choose” greeting card.

TMZ spoke to a source close to Mollen, one who spoke a great deal like a publicist might.

“The picture is nothing more than a mother hugging her 12 year-old son,” the source emphasized.

“Any one inferring anything else should be ashamed of themselves,” the source then condemned.

As far as the caption goes, the same individual dismissed it: “She’s a comedian.”

For the record, Mollen joked that her then-newborn son’s penis was “huge” back in 2014. So it doesn’t seem like her very recent split with Biggs is to blame.

James Van Der Beek’s Ex-Wife Marries New Man

For years, James Van Der Beek and Heather McComb were husband and wife.

That is no longer the case.

Van Der Beek passed away several months ago.

Now, his former wife has remarried. She had a lot to say, and so do fans.

They were married from 2003 until 2010

49-year-old Heather McComb was married to the late Van Der Beek from 2003 until 2010.

Later that year, he remarried to the Mrs. Van Der Beek we all know — his widow, Kimberly.

He left behind Kimberly and their six children: 15-year-old Olivia, 14-year-old Joshua, 12-year-old Annabel, 10-year-old Emilia, 7-year-old Gwendolyn, and 4-year-old Jeremiah.

Back in February, Van Der Beek passed away after an extended battle with colorectal cancer. He was only 48.

Now, Heather has remarried.

On Sunday, May 31, Heather McComb celebrated her marriage to Scott Michael Campbell on her Instagram page.

“Yesterday @scottmichaelcampbell and I under the covenant of God got officially married by my beautiful sister @essence_says,” she began.

McComb detailed that they were “surrounded by the people we love most in the world in our most favorite city Missoula Montana.”

She gushed: “Our hearts are full and humbled by all of the love that we were surrounded by.”

McComb gave numerous shout-outs, including: “Thank you to all of our family and friends who traveled from all over the country to be with us.”

‘Thank you to everyone who made this so special’

“You all made it so special and a truly magical weekend that we will never forget,” McComb raved.

“We are sitting here counting our many blessings,” she then affirmed.

McComb reiterated: “Thank you to everyone who made this so special for us!”

As you can see (above), her full caption was even longer, and included numerous shout-outs to those involved in the wedding and reception.

Her photos made it clear that she had a great (and messy) time dancing. Weddings, as a rule, tend to generate very sore feet.

In his own Instagram caption, McComb’s new husband, Scott Michael Campbell, expressed his joy after the wedding.

“BEYOND BLESSED for the most AMAZING week,” he gushed, “getting married to the BEAUTIFUL soul who is @heatmccomb.”

Keeping things fairly succinct, he continued: “THANK YOU to ALL of our friends and family and all our newfound Friends and family!”

McComb and Campbell are, like the late Van Der Beek, both actors.

Comments poured in, congratulating them both on their nuptials.

Noah Brown: ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star Opens Up About Finding Matt …

We have more tragic details about the death of Matt Brown.

As we previously reported, the Alaskan Bush People star’s body was recovered from a Washington river on Saturday.

His younger brother, Noah Brown, revealed that he was the one who helped find and identify Matt.

In a video posted to Instagram, Noah explained that he had been actively participating in the search effort for his older brother when the discovery was made.

“We found my oldest brother, Matthew,” Noah said. “I identified it as Matthew. My oldest brother, Matthew Brown, has passed away.”

According to Noah, he was present when search volunteers located Matt’s body in the river and helped bring him ashore before authorities arrived.

“I was there when we pulled him out of the river,” Noah said, adding that he later formally identified his brother using documents found on him as well as visual confirmation.

The reality star also thanked the volunteers, local residents and search groups who assisted in the effort, expressing gratitude to everyone who refused to give up hope during the search.

He then apologized to friends and supporters he had not yet been able to contact personally and acknowledged the overwhelming grief his family is experiencing.

“We hauled him up off the bank. And then, after the sheriffs got there and everything, the coroner did his thing, and I went down to identify that it was him,” Noah said, adding:

“It’s definitely Matthew. His ID and Social Security card was on him, and I was able to visually identify that it was Matthew.”

Perhaps most heartbreaking was Noah’s final message to his brother.

“I’m sorry it came down to this,” he said through tears.

Matt’s death has stunned fans of Alaskan Bush People, where he appeared as one of the original cast members when the Discovery Channel series premiered in 2014.

He later stepped away from the show to focus on recovery after years of publicly documented struggles with substance abuse.

The tragedy marks yet another painful loss for the Brown family, who also lost patriarch Billy Brown in 2021.

At this time, officials have not released a final coroner’s report. However, Matt’s brother Bear Brown has publicly stated that the family believes his death was self-inflicted and has spoken openly about Matt’s long struggles with addiction and mental illness.

For now, Noah’s words serve as a painful reminder that behind every headline is a grieving family trying to make sense of an unimaginable loss.

Morgan Wallen Overturns Piano After Technical Difficulties on Stage

Some days, it seems like you can’t hurl a chair from a rooftop without hitting a Morgan Wallen fan.

But he has once again found himself under scrutiny.

Even though the singer has pleaded guilty and promised to remedy his ways, he still shows signs of behavioral problems.

This time, the piece of furniture was a piano. One technical difficulty on stage, and he lashed out.

The piano did not deserve this

On Friday, May 29, the Country singer was performing at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.

Despite his numerous scandals, Wallen continues to draw crowds.

(So does Kanye West; some people just want to hear music and do not care about anything else.)

On stage, the singer experienced technical problems during his performance of the song, “Sand in My Boots.”

Finding that the instruments weren’t working to his satisfaction, 33-year-old Wallen tipped over the piano and walked away from it, finishing the song a cappella.

Apparently, the sound from the piano wasn’t reaching Wallen or his audience.

The concert it self was part of the singer’s “Lies Lies Lies” tour.

Wallen began the tour on April 10. It is set to conclude later in the summer, on August 1.

He has yet to publicly respond to the incident.

Come to think of it, this is not the first piece of furniture to get this kind of treatment

Some of Wallen’s supporters (they are real and they do exist) have said that this was a playful moment on stage.

However, some have noticed that the singer appears to have a history of “moments.”

When Wallen has one of his “moments,” being a piece of furniture is ill-advised.

Famously, he was arrested after throwing furniture off of a rooftop in Nashville.

Fortunately, no one was hurt. Unfortunately, Wallen avoided any real consequences, which some believe means that his behavior will not change.

It is not actually normal or healthy for someone to overturn a piano.

Not merely because pianos are expensive and heavy, but because it’s not normal for people to overturn or destroy furniture.

Whatever Wallen has going on with him, it has led him to make a series of very public mistakes like this.

Some are assuming that, on his tour, he has fallen off of the wagon. We would caution that someone can make poor behavioral choices while entirely sober.

We hope that he gets whatever help he needs.

Sydney Sweeney Goes Topless as Middle Finger to Critics Who Say Euphoria Finale Was …

Well, for better or worse, Euphoria wrapped up its run on HBO last night.

And the response from critics has been less than euphoric, with some comparing the show’s final episode to other disastrous finales of recent years, including Game of Thrones and Stranger Things.

The movie-sized, 100-minute finale brought most of the series’ major storylines to an end, but some viewers were not thrilled by the fact that the episode felt more like a Tarantino-esque action movie than a show about high school friends and rivals.

“Move over, Game of Thrones and Stranger Things, there’s a new worst finale in town,” wrote Page Six critic Lauen Sarner.

“Euphoria Season 3 ended the way it began: tawdry, tasteless, and squandering its all-star cast with ludicrous writing.

The review went on to note some of the most common complaints about the finale, including the fact that after centering Sydney Sweeney’s OnlyFans storyline for much of the season, the writers treated Cassie like an afterthought in the finale.

But at least by bringing her together with her best friend Maddie and sister Lexi to run a business catering to adult content creators, the show stops punishing Cassie for her decisions.

“To the extent that anybody gets a ‘happy ending,’ it seems to be these three women living together in a weird large house with yellow decor,” Sarner wrote.

The same can’t be said for Zendaya’s Rue, who — as many predicted — passed away from an accidental Fentanyl overdose.

Oddly, her death comes not in the final moments, but halfway through the episode.

The climactic conclusion is instead reserved for a gun battle between one relatively minor character (albeit a beloved one, Colman Domingo’s Ali) and one who was just introduced this season (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Alamo).

A showdown between two men in their fifties probably isn’t the finale viewers would have predicted when this show about troubled teens got its start back in 2019.

Of course, Euphoria has always thrived on defying expectations and confounding critics.

Unfortunately, it’s not easy to continually raise the bar in terms of shock value — at least not without winding up in a thoroughly ridiculous place.

Showrunner Sam Levinson likely knew that the finale would receive a divided response. But ironically, the Euphoria finale’s biggest sins had little to do with sex and violence and everything to do with bad pacing and unsatisfying character arcs.

We’re sure Levinson is unconcerned, and the same can be said for his biggest star, Sydney Sweeney, who celebrated the finale with a massive carousel of pics of her most memorable Season 3 moments.

Maybe Cassie was always destined for a happy ending. And maybe Sydney’s post is meant to remind us that Euphoria is just one small chapter in the story of her career.

Whatever the case, many viewers have made note of the fact that HBO lists last night’s episode as a season finale, rather than a series finale. So we may not have seen the last of Cassie Howard.

Former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Facing NEW Investigation for Sexual Misconduct, …

Remember when we reported that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is under investigation?

Investigators are now looking into yet another alleged wrongdoing. A wholly separate incident.

This time, it’s an alleged wrongdoing at the Royal Ascot.

He’s under investigation for sexual misconduct, for fraud, and more.

This incident is from 2002

According to The Sunday Times, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is under investigation after an alleged incident at the Royal Ascot in 2002.

Police say that they are “examining events in 2002 as they consider wider possible crimes by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.”

Authorities added that these potential crimes are “including sexual misconduct, ­corruption, and fraud.”

The context is an alleged encounter with a woman.

The Royal Ascot sounds like . . . almost anything English. But it is a racing festival of some renown for the residents of beans-on-toast island, and has been attended by numerous royals.

We do not know more specific information about the 2002 incident at this time.

Police did not specify if the interaction was only reported recently.

Andrew has, for all of his life, enjoyed enormous protections against consequences for his actions.

It is possible that his alleged wrongdoings were reported in 2002 but effective ignored or buried, due to his erstwhile status.

But he is no longer a prince. He is, as he has always been, a man with money and privilege that he has never deserved.

What we already know may just be the tip of the iceberg

We previously reported that Thames Valley inspectors are looking into past misdeeds that the former prince may have committed.

Andrew was arrested on his 66th birthday.

The arrested was on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

And the specific misconduct was that he is accused of slipping classified information to Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein died — allegedly by suicide — in his cell back in 2019. Most of his associates have attained high places in governments and business, from top officials in the UK to Donald Trump himself.

Andrew’s reputation has really never been good. However, things came to a head through a series of events — including a disastrous interview — made Andrew one of Epstein’s most infamous associates.

Even so, his status as the son of Queen Elizabeth sheltered him from many things, even when she stripped him of specific honors. These were symbolic gestures, and not punishments.

King Charles has publicly withdrawn further protections from Andrew, even stripping the monarch’s brother of his land and titles. That, too, is a symbolic gesture, but it allows investigations to proceed.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are both said to despise their royal uncle due to his alleged crimes.

Whether that is true or simply a story that the royal firm has released in order to distance the family from Andrew’s crimes remains unclear. Functionally, it probably doesn’t matter — he’s not getting any protection from one of the planet’s most powerful families as police investigate.

Is Ariana Grande pregnant?

In recent months, some people have body-shamed Ariana over her ultra-slender appearance.

Now, some of the denizens of TikTok are reporting something very different about her body.

Is this just a rumor? Wishful thinking? A new angle of body-shaming? Or is Ariana Grande now Ariana Pregante?

Is Ariana Grande pregnant?

“Ariana Grande is reportedly three months pregnant,” a TikTok video reports. And it is not alone.

The post went on to claim that she “discovered she was expecting in October, the same day as her first Wicked press interview.”

That is incredibly specific!

Presumably, the father would be Ethan Slater, Ariana’s Wicked castmate.

Multiple comments below the video show that even the TikTok audience isn’t immediately convinced. And that’s saying a lot, folks. TikTok is a notorious vector of disinformation.

In fact, a series of TikTok denizens asked the same question: “Does Ariana know?”

The implication, of course, is that this is a baseless claim and that Ariana is not, to her knowledge, pregnant.

It’s worth investigating where the rumor originates.

Is there a source for saying that Ariana Grande is pregnant?

Ariana Grande has not made any pregnancy announcement.

Her silly little guy, the Spongebob musical star Ethan Slater, hasn’t either.

Sometimes, pregnancy news leaks from close family or friends or even professionals.

Many celebrities know that contacting first responders or visiting a hospital is barely different from calling certain tabloids directly.

But this doesn’t come from TMZ or People or Page Six. This isn’t even a dubious Deuxmoi claim.

And it doesn’t seem to match up with any blind items, to our knowledge.

Thus far, we’re just seeing unsubstantiated claims on TikTok.

Which is a lovely place for people to do duets with strangers or to share recipes for food. Not so much for, like, actual information about the world.

On the positive side for Ariana, this rumor doesn’t appear to be body-shaming. She is extremely slender.

In fact, this may be a form of wishful thinking from some of her fans.

Maybe they’d like to see her have a kid, even if it’s with Ethan, who pretty famously already had a kid shortly before the downfall of his marriage.

Right now, having a baby probably isn’t her focus

Ariana Grande just dazzled audiences with Wicked, even taking home a “Rising Star” award even though she has been a household name for a decade and has been acting since she was a child.

Presumably, if she’s serious about Ethan (which many of her fans would not understand, but that’s her business), she’ll want to spend more time considering their next step.

Not only did Ethan exit a marriage relatively recently, but so did she.

Taking time to reassess your next step is always a good idea.
