Donald Trump Sympathizes with Accused Cornell Rapists: ‘They Won’t Get a Fair …

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Unfortunately, Donald Trump is now weighing in on the Cornell University gang rape case.

The alleged crime and the ensuing cover-up by the university has sent shockwaves through the nation, prompting many to share their own stories.

It’s probably no surprise that he isn’t calling out for justice for Jane Doe.

His sympathies lie with the seven accused rapists. And he’s saying so plainly.

What did Donald Trump say about the ‘Cornell 7’ and Letitia James?

Water will always find its own level.

During a recent appearance as he sort of shambled around in front of the press at the White House, Donald Trump responded to the news that Governor Kathy Hochul had appointed NY State AG Letitia James as special prosecutor to oversee the Cornell University gang rape case.

“Letitia James is a corrupt person,” Trump claimed without evidence or merit.

“She’s totally corrupt,” he whined, “and I can’t imagine it.”

Trump continued to complain: “And I feel badly for whoever she’s looking at because they won’t get a fair shake. Letitia James is a corrupt person.”

Why does Trump hate the New York Attorney General?

To oversimplify, it’s for the same reason that so many career criminals hate prosecutors.

James faced off with Trump in a case that forced him to dissolve his “charitable” foundation, which he had long used to enrich himself, and to pay a $2 million fine.

In a separate case, she accused Trump and his dubious Trump Organization of deceiving banks, insurers, and more by overvaluing assets.

Many speculate that the fact that Letitia James is a Black woman plays a role in his enmity. But Trump doesn’t like anyone who pursues him for crimes and takes him to court — especially when they win.

Thousands of Cornell students have taken over the main plaza on campus to demand the Cornell 7 be held accountable for their crimes. 21% of undergraduate women are raped or sexual assaulted during their time on campus.

Is this a surprising take from him?

Donald Trump has a complex history with this sort of case.

On the one hand, a jury found him guilty of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll.

That, details that came to light during his Marla Maples divorce, and his repeated presence in the Epstein Files show why Trump might sympathize with seven accused rapists.

On the other hand, in 1989, he purchased a full-page New York Times ad calling for the return of the death penalty against the “Central Park Five” — a group of teen s accused of beating and raping a woman. The five were later exonerated.

The apparent inconsistency ceases to be a mystery when one remembers that the five teens were Black.

For years, there has been a push by pernicious patriarchal forces to create a new paradigm of “justice” in our society.

In this worldview, the real criminals are people like Jack Smith, Robert Mueller, and anyone else who investigates crimes against those who consider themselves to be above the law. People like Trump.

Also in this way of framing things, the real bad guys are victims who speak out. Accusers become the assaulters in the public consciousness, whether it’s domestic violence, rape, or workplace sexual harassment.

Trump absolutely embodies both aspects of this mindset. Of course he sympathizes with accused rapists, just as he sympathizes with aspiring dictators across the globe who are dethroned and dragged into court.

He sees a lot of himself in them. And they represent what he most fears: facing justice.

Donald Trump Talks Letting Iran Nuke American Cities: ‘Let Them Take Out Los …

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Once again, Donald Trump has said something shocking and unbecoming — but not surprising.

At a rally, the tariff enthusiast and pardon purveyor defended his Iran War and the resulting price in gas and most consumer goods.

Taking aim at Los Angeles and San Diego, he baselessly claimed that Iran could annihilate these cities.

He called the hypothetical screaming deaths of millions of Americans a “small price to pay,” in his estimation.

Donald Trump: ‘Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego’

On Monday, October 5, Donald Trump spoke at a Nebraska political rally where he arguably sank to a new low — if that is even possible.

There, America’s Mad King briefly acknowledged that his needless Iran War has caused a global rise in fuel prices.

He characterized this as American drivers having to pay a “little bit” more at the pump. That is only one small part of the price increases, as almost all goods — including food — are transported using fuel.

Trump claimed to the crowd that Iran, whose military he has repeatedly claimed to have destroyed, has the firepower to annihilate an American city.

He did not choose to provide any evidence of this claim, which seems dubious at best.

Trump: "With the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay … let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."

Trump’s sick idea of a punchline soon made itself apparent.

He suggested that Iran might destroy California’s two most populous cities.

“Let them take out Los Angeles,” Trump told the crowd. “Let them take out San Diego. That — that’s a very small price to pay.”

Even if such fiery destruction were restricted to city limits, that would result in the deaths of millions of Americans. If the carnage extended to LA County and San Diego County, as would be the case in a nuclear attack, we’d be looking at the screaming deaths over 13 million Americans.

He once again announced that the war is almost over, a claim that he has been making all year. Anyone who believes him, then or now, likely owns NFTs.

Everyone (except his sycophants in the crowd) hated that

Condemnation for Donald Trump’s vile-yet-unsurprising joke about the incineration of millions of Americans did not go unanswered.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass tweeted: “The role of a president is to protect the country, not to actively threaten it and encourage attacks on American lives.”

Meanwhile, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria tweeted: “San Diego is not collateral damage. We are not expendable.”

Gloria continued: “And we are never a ‘small price to pay.’ Keep our city out of your reckless war talk.”

That’s the general consensus. Whether or not Trump was “joking” really doesn’t matter. His intentions are malicious, and this would be a horrific thing to say even if he were a private citizen — which he is not.

What is Trump thinking? For the past decade, but especially in more recent years, that question sounds a little like when people wonder if their dogs know if it’s their birthday. They don’t.

Similarly, Trump isn’t really thinking in a traditional, coherent sense. Much of what he says seems to be stimulus response, like a baby or a plant — lashing out when angry, fawning when happy.

However, even before his obvious cognitive decline, Trump has always been a person who values people who like him and loathes people who do not. His sole issue with Hollywood and celebrities is that most abhor him.

Now, Trump is suggesting letting a foreign adversary kill millions of Americans simply because most are not his supporters. (There’s also a pretty sizable naval base in San Diego, but at this point, there’s probably nothing that Trump could do or say to alienate military service members more than he already has.)

If you want to be liked, you do good things and are nice to people. Trump appears to be fundamentally incapable of both, and then he lashes out like this when people do not support him.

He chose to be this way long before his dementia. He will continue to get worse.

Jim Bakker Cause of Death: Disgraced Televangelist Was 86

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Jim Bakker, the controversial televangelist who built a massive Christian television empire with his first wife, Tammy Faye Bakker, has died. He was 86.

Bakker died Monday, his second wife, Lori Bakker, announced.

A cause of death has not been revealed.

Lori described her husband as a “pioneer of Christian television” and said she was honored to have spent so many years alongside him.

For millions of Americans, Jim and Tammy Faye were once among the biggest names in religious television.

The couple launched The PTL Club in the 1970s, with PTL standing for “Praise the Lord.” The program eventually became the centerpiece of an enormous ministry that included the Heritage USA Christian theme park and resort in South Carolina.

At its height, The PTL Club reportedly reached as many as 13 million viewers, while the ministry brought in more than $100 million annually. Jim preached an upbeat message while Tammy Faye became famous for her singing, flamboyant personality, and, of course, her heavy makeup.

Their seemingly unstoppable empire came crashing down in 1987.

Bakker resigned after admitting to a sexual encounter with church secretary Jessica Hahn. The scandal was followed by an investigation into PTL’s finances, and Bakker was eventually indicted on charges of mail fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy.

In 1989, he was convicted on all 24 counts and initially sentenced to 45 years in federal prison.

The sentence was later reduced, and Bakker ultimately spent about five years behind bars. Prosecutors accused him of defrauding followers through the sale of lifetime vacation packages connected to Heritage USA.

Tammy Faye remained publicly supportive of Jim during his trial, but their marriage ultimately ended. She divorced him in 1992 while he was still incarcerated. Tammy Faye died of cancer in 2007.

Jim was released on parole in 1994 and married Lori in 1998. The couple eventually returned to television with The Jim Bakker Show, which launched in 2003 and was later filmed near Branson, Missouri.

But Bakker’s controversies were far from over.

In 2021, he and his production company agreed to a $156,000 settlement over allegations that he falsely promoted a product called Silver Solution as a treatment for COVID-19.

Despite the scandals that defined much of his later life, Bakker continued preaching and broadcasting until his death.

His legacy is a complicated one: He helped transform Christian television into a powerful entertainment and fundraising machine, only to see his empire collapse spectacularly before rebuilding his career decades later.

Jim Bakker is survived by Lori and his children.

Dennis Hastert Cause of Death: Child Molester, Former Speaker of the House Was 84

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert has died at the age of 84.

Hastert, who served as Speaker from 1999 to 2007, died Saturday of natural causes at his home in Illinois while receiving hospice care, according to Kendall County Coroner Jacquie Purcell.

His death closes the book on one of the more complicated political legacies in recent American history.

For years, Hastert was known as a relatively low-key Illinois Republican who unexpectedly rose to become one of the most powerful politicians in the country.

He took over as Speaker after Newt Gingrich’s resignation and went on to lead the House during President Bill Clinton’s impeachment proceedings.

He later worked closely with President George W. Bush to advance the administration’s agenda, including major tax cuts and an expansion of Medicare prescription drug benefits.

Hastert also became associated with the so-called “Hastert Rule,” an unwritten practice under which House Republican leaders generally avoided bringing legislation to the floor unless it had the support of a majority of the majority party.

But whatever accomplishments Hastert accumulated during his decades in politics were ultimately eclipsed by a shocking scandal.

In 2015, Hastert was charged with violating federal banking laws while making large cash payments to a former student. Prosecutors eventually revealed that the payments were intended to conceal Hastert’s sexual abuse of teenage boys while he was a high school teacher and wrestling coach.

Prosecutors said Hastert had abused at least four boys during his coaching career.

Because the alleged abuse had occurred decades earlier, Hastert was not prosecuted for those acts. Instead, he pleaded guilty to financial crimes related to the hush-money payments.

He was sentenced in 2016 to 15 months in prison, becoming the highest-ranking U.S. elected official to serve a federal prison sentence at that time. During his sentencing, Hastert apologized to the boys he had “mistreated” as a coach.

The scandal destroyed his reputation.

His portrait was removed from the U.S. Capitol, and Wheaton College removed his name from a public policy center that had previously honored him.

Hastert left Congress in 2007 after Democrats regained control of the House and later worked as a lobbyist.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, and their two adult sons.

Whatever Hastert’s supporters may have remembered about his years in Washington, his final legacy was inevitably defined by the horrific conduct that emerged after his political career had ended.

Kim Kardashian Has Four Nannies, Says She’s an Involved & …

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Kim Kardashian is a busy woman and also a single mom to four children.

With multiple businesses, an estimated net worth of $5 billion, and her reality TV career (and more), how does she have time for it all?

Part of that’s her constantly-doing-something attitude. The other part, as usual, is money.

She has four nannies on duty. There’s a whole schedule.

Kim Kardashian employs a team of four nannies

In a new interview with The Times of London, Kim Kardashian delved into detail on her four nannies.

She clarified that she personally takes her kids to school every day, picks them up, and eats dinner with them.

“I think I am an intermediate-strict parent,” Kim self-assessed.

(No, we don’t know what she means by that, either.)

“I’m extremely patient and loving,” Kim claimed. “I still have a kid sleep in my bed when they want. I read books with the kids every night.”

Each of Kim’s children were born into fame against their will. That doesn’t necessarily get easier over time.

“I do worry about it. Each kid does what they’re comfortable with,” Kim shared.

“So, my little ones come around when I’m filming but they don’t really do storylines,” she described. “North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back. All she wants to do is forward-facing projects.”

Kim continued: “And so it’s like us really kind of trying to [savor] those moments and not doing everything that comes her way, so we can really make sure that we manage it the right way.”

Elaborating on North, she said: “And with her, since it’s more music-related, that is something that her dad and I have better communication about. We make sure that we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve.”

She talks about money and also about whether she’ll ever retake the bar exam

Kim Kardashian was born into extreme wealth, and has accumulated more money by several orders of magnitude. Now, her kids are growing up in that environment.

“It’s something I talk to my kids about constantly, about hard work, never taking things for granted, always having gratitude,” she stated in her interview.

“I lead by example,” Kim insisted.

She added: “I’m really open with them about my work, all of the hard work that I put into my law studies, and they’re proud.”

Kim expressed: “I think that you can have a big life and still have that spirit in you. But it is more challenging.”

This might seem like a bit of a tangent, but Kim also delved into her law studies.

Famously, Kim failed the bar exam last year. She then skipped retaking the bar exam earlier this year.

“I saw somewhere, everywhere, that I gave up,” Kim complained.

“I never give up,” she insisted. “But I’m just going to take it on my own time and make sure I’m extremely prepared and don’t have other projects going on at the same time.”

Though it’s wild that she waited about 5 months after the reports about her skipping the exam to clarify that in this interview, at least she clarified it.

Christa Pike Still Unconscious, May Never Recover From Botched Execution, Lawyer Claims

Reading Time: 2 minutes

On Wednesday of last week, Christa Pike was set to be executed.

She would have become the first woman put to death by the state of Tennessee in over 200 years.

Instead, Pike survived the execution and is now fighting for her life.

And her attorney says she may never fully recover from the botched attempt.

Pike remains unconscious and on a ventilator several days after Tennessee attempted to execute her by lethal injection.

Her attorney, Stephen Ferrell, provided the troubling update Sunday while appearing on CNN’s State of the Union.

“We don’t really know the prognosis yet and may not know for several days,” Ferrell said.

Asked whether Pike has regained consciousness since the September 30 execution attempt, Ferrell responded, “Not that I am aware.”

And the uncertainty doesn’t end there.

“I think one of the main things that will leave this up in the air for a while is the fact that we don’t know what the prognosis is,” Ferrell explained. “If she recovers — she may not fully recover. And there may be issues about her competence. We just don’t know any of this.”

That’s a particularly significant issue given that Pike could potentially face another execution attempt if her death sentence remains intact.

Pike’s legal team is instead asking Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee to commute her sentence to life in prison.

“She has already endured a torturous attempt at executing her,” Ferrell said.

The execution attempt reportedly involved two doses of pentobarbital after officials struggled to establish an IV.

Pike’s attorneys have said seven needles were used and that both of her arms were swollen, burned and blistered when she arrived at the hospital. They also said Pike could be heard crying and expressing pain during the procedure.

Tennessee has since halted executions for the remainder of the year while an independent investigation into what happened is conducted. The state’s corrections commissioner, Frank Strada, has also resigned.

Pike was sentenced to death for the 1995 murder of 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer. She has spent decades on death row and was scheduled to become the first woman executed by Tennessee in more than 200 years.

Now, however, the biggest question may not be when Tennessee will attempt to execute Pike again.

It’s whether she will ever be healthy enough for that question to matter.

We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.

Kash Patel, 46, Engaged to Country Singer Alexis Wilkins, 27

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Kash Patel put a ring on it. And yes, she’s a human.

The Trump regime’s FBI Director proposed to his country singer girlfriend. She said yes.

Patel has made controversial use of numerous government resources and trips. His now-fiancee even sang at Trump’s very sad America 250 event.

Now, they’re taking that $60 million taxpayer-funded jet straight to the altar.

Kash Patel is engaged to Alexis Wilkins

On the evening of Sunday, October 4, 27-year-old Country singer Alexis Wilkins took to her Instagram to share some news.

“Went and got the law involved,” she captioned the photo.

The photo itself showed a black-and-white image of her with 46-year-old boyfriend Kash Patel.

Patel, whose eyes appeared to be facing directly at the camera (at least in the photo), wore a smile.

Wilkins was also smiling as she held up her left hand, showing off a dazzling engagement ring.

In her caption, Wilkins shared a ring emoji and a red heart emoji.

Obviously, in theory, any one person could unilaterally share an out-of-context or doctored photograph to announce big news. (Especially if the poster is the less famous member of a couple).

In case there were any doubts, Patel confirmed the news.

In a quote-tweet, he, too, shared the ring emoji and the red heart emoji.

The news has been controversial, to say the least. But perhaps the couple has friends or loved ones who are happy for them.

Their relationship has been controversial since the public first learned of it

In January of 2023, Kash Patel and Alexis Wilkins began dating after having met a few months earlier at a friend’s house party in Nashville.

However, both of them remained obscure-to-unknown figures until Patel became the Trump regime’s FBI Director. Notably, a conspiracy theorist podcaster became Deputy Director under him.

Almost immediately, public awareness of Wilkins arose because of Patel using FBI resources to travel to see her perform, even if it were nothing but the National Anthem.

Not all of Patel’s brazenly unprofessional use of time and resources has involved Wilkins. (Anyone else remember him partying it up in Italy at the Olympics, not long after Nancy Guthrie’s abduction?)

However, there is a public perception that he prioritizes his relationship with Wilkins and apparently a luxurious schedule and accommodations when setting his travel itinerary. It is … unbecoming of his position.

Patel’s primary qualification as Trump’s FBI Director appears to be his loyalty to Trump himself.

He has shown some of that same loyalty towards Wilkins, viciously defending her — as if she were personally under attack — when accused of unprofessionalism.

(He has also insisted that past FBI Directors were even more capricious with their use of resources, which sounds unlikely but perhaps he knows something that we don’t.)

To be fair, Wilkins has also been accused of being a honeypot (the timeline doesn’t really work for that). That’s probably not a reasonable accusation, folks.

Patel is not a good person or a good FBI Director. By all accounts, Wilkins doesn’t seem to be such a great person either. Perhaps they’ll make each other happy.
