Get crafting with this early Black Friday deal on a Cricut machine

If you've been thinking about expanding your crafting repertoire with a Cricut machine, now is a great time with this early Black Friday deal on a Cricut Explore Air 2. At over $80 off, you don't have to wait until after Thanksgiving to save some major bucks. Cricut is offering this excellent cutting and crafting machine at this price in three colors: Blue (soft pastel blue), Mint (soft pastel green), and Twilight (dark, dusty purple).

A Cricut machine is known primarily as a cutting machine, though it can also be used for writing, drawing, and scoring. It's useful for making a large variety of crafts and DIY projects with paper, fabric, vinyl, and more.

Blue or Mint: $169 at Amazon

Twilight: $169 at Amazon

Crafters and DIY enthusiasts will love this "Goldilocks" cutting machine.

The Cricut Explore sits in the middle of the Cricut lineup. The lowest-priced machine is the diminutive Cricut Joy, which is perfect for smaller projects and beginning crafters. The Cricut Maker is the top of the line for serious crafters, with its added abilities to cut leather, balsa wood, and more. I've used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to make tons of paper projects, iron-on t-shirts, and decals, but I've barely scratched the surface of what you can do with this machine.

Note that the Cricut Explore Air 2 isn't the latest model. Comparing the Cricut Explore Air 2 vs. Cricut Explore 3 , you'll find that the two models are quite similar. Basically, the Cricut Explore 3 has the added ability to use matless Smart Materials, which means you can make much longer cuts. And it cuts big projects faster. Otherwise, the feature set is the same. I'd still recommend the Cricut Explore Air 2 over the Cricut Explore 3 if you don't plan to use Smart Materials and you'd rather just save a substantial amount of money instead.
