Fans of wireless charging might want to check out the new Smartish Charge Dinghy, a MagSafe wireless charger designed for use with iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. The new charger also comes in four different colors so you'll be able to find one to suit your look.
The new Charge Dinghy is available direct from Smartish for $19.99 right now and it comes with a 6ft USB-C cable, although you'll need to provide your own wall charger. There's also a freebie USB-A adapter in the box for those who only have a spare USB-A port to plug into.
In terms of charging, the Charge Dinghy only provided 7.5W of wireless power, rather than the 15W offered by Apple's own MagSafe charger — so keep that in mind if you're looking for the fastest charging possible. If you're going to slap this thing onto your iPhone overnight however, speed isn't an issue. That said, the best iPhone charging solution is still the good old-fashioned Lightning cable!
Charge Dinghy by Smartish uses USB-C charging so it's faster than Usain Bolt after his seventh double espresso. With temperature regulation, MagSafe Compatibility, and a 6 foot cable, it's got everything you need from a wireless charger. It even comes with a USB-A adapter so you can use the power bricks you already have!
While not yet offered, Smartish does say that people will be able to customize the look of their own Charge Dinghy starting November 19 so it might be worth hanging fire a few days before placing your order.
