What you need to know

  • Fitness widget app Fitness Totals just got a big update and it's better than ever.
  • Users can look forward to new and improved widgets including bar charts.
  • The update includes more control over how widgets appear.

More than 30 different fitness activities can be put into widgets and onto your Home screen.

Popular fitness widget app Fitness Totals has a big new update out today and it brings with it new and improved widgets as well as charts — a first for the app.

Available as a free update for existing users and ready for download from the App Store, Fitness Totals already supported more than 30 different fitness activities from which to create widgets. But those widgets are now better than ever thanks to increased control over how they look. Default theme options are now available, as are custom start dates.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the addition of charts, however. Users can now turn the data Fitness Totals collates and turn it into bar charts for easier visualization on your Home screen. Your data never looked so good!

Beyond that, Fitness Totals has been improved all around thanks to updated iconography and more.

Of course, Fitness Totals is at its best when you're using an Apple Watch to collect all of this data. Check out our collection of the best Apple Watch deals if you're on the lookout for one of your very own.

Fitness Totals is available for download from the App Store right now and it costs just $2.99.
