Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are on their way to becoming one of the best Pokémon games. In the latest August 2021 Pokémon Presents, The Pokémon Company announced pre-purchase bonuses for the game.
Here are all the pre-purchase bonuses announced so far:
Manaphy Egg
All early adopters of the game can receive an egg containing the mythical Pokémon Manaphy as a bonus. The egg can be received in-game by February 21, 2022 via the Mystery Gift feature, which takes approximately 2 hours of playtime to access. While an internet connection is required to install any potential update data and receive the Mystery Gift over the internet, a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online will not be required.
Quick Balls
Those who pre-purchase either game on the Nintendo Switch eShop before February 21, 2022 will receive a code for 12 Quick Balls. The code will be valid through February 28, 2022 and can only be used once.
Quick Balls, when used, have a higher chance of capturing a Pokémon the sooner you use it in a battle. You may have to install update data to receive this, which will require an internet connection. However, you won't need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to receive this bonus or download update data.
