Apple AirTags size and price revealed in new leak

Max Weinbach says they'll be $39 each, and just over 3cm in diameter...

What you need to know

  • Apple's AirTags will cost $39 and measure just over 3cm.
  • That's according to a new leak from Max Weinbach via EverythingApplePro.

A new report says Apple's AirTags will cost $39 and measure just over 3cm in diameter.

In a new YouTube video, EverythingApplePro shared leaks from Max Weinbach regarding the size and price of Apple's AirTags. From the video:

AirTags are 32mm x 32mm x 6mm. As for the inner-workings of AirTags, it'll use the Find My network from devices to send the UUID of the AirTag to the Apple server for pinging. No other data from the tags gets transferred.

Weinbach further states his "guess" is that there is a Bluetooth low energy beacon broadcasting that at any given moment the iPhone can pick up on. Weinbach also says the tags may be able to pass on data to each other.

Weinbach further states that according to retail sources AirTags will be priced at around $39.

The main focus of the video is rumors about the upcoming iPhone 13 including reports it could get two awesome new colors. From that report:

In a new video, EverythingApplePro reveals leaks from Max Weinbach claiming there are big new changes coming to the new iPhone this year. From the video's description:

Massive iPhone 13 Pro Leaks Update! New lens design, matte black color, bronze/copper color, new anti-fingerprint coating, tiny notch, bigger batteries, NO portless models, 1TB storage, smaller logic boards & so much more!

EAP says Apple has "reworked" the graphite/space grey color of the iPhone and that it is now a "borderline" black, stating we can assume that matte black is coming to the iPhone 13. Apple is also reportedly exploring a new bronze or copper color that has reportedly passed stage one of validations. Weinbach is much less bullish on this and says it seems "unlikely" (but not impossible) to make it to launch, which is a shame because the concept looks absolutely stunning.
