Get ready for the first free update for Monster Hunter Rise in April!

Capcom announced that this will be the first of a series of updates to the game.

In a blog post, Capcom has announced the details of their first update for Monster Hunter Rise. The free 2.0 update will be making its debut in late April 2021, and will feature the Elder Dragon inspired by the chameleon, Chameleos, and the debut of Apex Rathalos, a fresh take on the beloved Wyvern.

An additional slew of content has been confirmed for the game's 3.0 update, which will feature even more monsters and an alternate ending to the Monster Hunter Rise story. There hasn't been any confirmation on when the 3.0 update will be coming, but we'll be sure to keep you posted.

Monster Hunter Rise has risen to the ranks as one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch, even despite some issues with glitches that players have discovered.
