Apple premium reseller and retail partner Unicorn has said it will open 4-6 stores in India over the coming months.

Apple's retail partner Unicorn is planning to open 4-6 new flagship and premium stores in the country in the next financial year, a top company official said on Friday.
The retail chain firm opened an Apple Premium Reseller store in Delhi with business gaining normalcy.
At the launch ceremony of said Delhi store, Unicorn Infosolutions director Baljinder Paul Singh said "Now, everything is back to normal. People have started coming to malls. Therefore, we have opened the largest Apple flagship premium reseller store in Delhi spread over an area of 3,000 square feet." Singh stated that the company "will be opening 4-6 new stores in India, including two flagship stores in the first half of the coming financial year, with the rest opening in the latter half.
As the report notes, of the 150 stores that sell Apple products in India, Unicorn operates 29 of them under the brand name Uni.
Singh said that Apple was a "growing business in India" with "very loyal customers" helping in dedicated sales, helping to propel growth for Unicorn's Apple business some 30-35%.
Apple is expected to launch its own first-ever India Apple store at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex in the Maker Maxity mall. A timeframe for the store was previously set for 2020, but it was more recently reported this date was unfeasible for Apple.
