More leaked images appear to show new iPhone 12 cases

Four of the cases match earlier leaks, but there are also some new colors.

What you need to know

  • More new iPhone cases have apparently leaked online.
  • Images show previously leaked new MagSafe cases for iPhone 12.
  • They also show new colors including Red and Yellow.

More images have surfaced allegedly depicting new iPhone 12 MagSafe cases that Apple might release alongside its April event next week.

Twitter user Majin Bu shared images Wednesday with the simple caption "New Spring Magsafe Cases 2021":

The cases look to be housed in official Apple packaging, and perhaps more importantly match exactly some new MagSafe cases shared earlier this week. From Tuesday:

The images, taken from Weibo, largely match the iPhone 11 cases Apple released in the spring of 2020. These cases are usually released towards the end of March or the start of April, so are definitely overdue by the usual timings. Tommy Boi says the cases are silicone, and that the colors are named as follows: Pistachio, Capri Blue, Cantaloupe, Amethyst.

The more recent images also include previously unseen colors including red and yellow. It is highly likely Apple plans to release these cases quietly alongside new products at its April event next week. Apple officially announced its event on Tuesday, from that report:

Apple has officially confirmed that its April event will take place next week on Tuesday 20, where the company is expected to unveil a new iPad Pro and AirTags.

Apple's event is called "Spring loaded" and will take place on April 20 at 10 am PT.

Apple's new iPad Pro is likely to include a new mini-LED display as well as an updated processor and possibly 5G. Apple's AirTags are its long-rumored tracking devices designed to work with Apple's FindMy network to help you keep track of your valuables and belongings.

Apple is widely expected to unveil a new iPad Pro as well as Airtags and possibly even a new iMac.
