Nintendo has recently announced in a blog post that an update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be releasing on April 28, 2021. Previous holidays and events, such as May's May Day and International Museum Day, and June's Wedding Season with Reese and Cyrus will be making a return, but with a "new twist" for players who experienced these events last year.
New seasonal items were announced, celebrating the cheese rolling competitions in the United Kingdom, Children's Day in Japan, and Mother and Father's Day worldwide. As usual, these items will be available in the Nook Shopping App.
Seasonal Bug-Off events with Flick will make a return on June 26, July 24, August 28, and September 25. CJ will also be making a splash on the islands with the Fishing Tourney on July 10. Players can invite friends over to catch more critters and earn more points.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been a smash hit ever since its debut on the Nintendo Switch. With continuous updates, new items and remixed events, it's no wonder people believe that it's one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch.
