Isaac Asimov's Foundation, a hotly anticipated addition to Apple TV+, will join the streaming service's growing catalog of first-party content on September 24. There will be three episodes available initially with a new episode landing every Friday.
Apple TV+ made the announcement via a press release earlier and also gave us another teaser to enjoy. Anyone who wasn't already pumped to take in Foundation will be by the time they get to the end of this 2:20 video!
When revolutionary Dr. Hari Seldon predicts the impending fall of the Empire, he and a band of loyal followers venture to the far reaches of the galaxy to establish The Foundation in an attempt to rebuild and preserve the future of civilization. Enraged by Hari's claims, the ruling Cleons – a long line of emperor clones – fear their grasp on the galaxy may be weakening as they're forced to reckon with the potential reality of losing their legacy forever.
The show will star Emmy Award nominees Jared Harris and Lee Pace, alongside "rising stars Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey."
