- Nintendo has announced the Splatter Ladder 2021 tournament, which will run through four weekends in July.
- Winning teams can claim My Nintendo Gold Points, gaming headsets and chairs, and many other prizes.
Nintendo's answer to the third-person shooter, Splatoon, has been a phenomenon ever since its debut as a new IP. Splatoon 2, the latest in the series, has been regarded as one of the best multiplayer games on the Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo has recently announced in a tweet that a sweepstakes, the Splatter Ladder 2021 tournament, will begin starting July 10, 2021 and span across four weekends.

Players can register in teams at the designated website and participate in four of the game's modes on the following weekends:
- Rainmaker — 07/10/2021
- Splat Zones — 07/17/2021
- Tower Control — 07/24/2021
- Turf War — 07/31/2021
Prizes in the tournament range from My Nintendo Gold Points, to gaming chairs, to a trophy. Legal residents of the United States (including D.C.) who are over the age of 13 are eligible to enter. Registration is currently open, and ends at 10:00 P.M. Pacific Time on July 10, 2021. If you've got a team, Splatoon 2, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you're good to go!
