Upcoming multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) Pokémon Unite was previously announced to be hitting Nintendo Switch at some point in July and now, we've got an exact date. Pokémon Unite is currently scheduled to be available for Nintendo Switch owners on July 21.

Any players that log into Pokémon Unite before August 31 will receive Zeraora as a bonus playable Pokémon. This game is a major departure from past titles and is being developed as a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Tencent Games' TiMi Studios, the latter of which has handled multiple mobile games. Much like other MOBA titles, Pokémon Unite will be completely free-to-play however, there will be in-game purchases available. The game is set to arrive on mobile devices sometime later this year in September.

If you're looking for even more Pokémon to experience in the coming months, Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an open-world spin on the mainline games and is currently set to arrive for Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022. This comes shortly after the planned launch of the Nintendo Switch OLED model in October, which comes with an OLED screen, improved storage and an ethernet port.
