Bang & Olufsen has unveiled a brand new pair of Made for iPhone wireless earbuds, its new Beoplay EQ earphones.
The company says its Beoplay EQ earphones are the first true wireless earphones to feature "Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation" which it says effectively eliminates surrounding noise, allowing for total immersion. The company also hailed the new earphones' design and audio experience as well as their comfort and durability. The company explain its Adaptive ANC:
To achieve the maximum noise-cancelling effect, Bang & Olufsen used an Adaptive ANC that combines Active Noise Cancellation with excellent passive sealing, effectively blocking outside noise. A dedicated ANC DSP chip and six microphones allow for automatic adjustment of ANC levels to create a seamless audio experience. In addition to this, the microphones create the best directional beamforming technology, resulting in crystal clear call and speech quality.
With the case, they come with up to 20 hours total listening time, and 6.5 hours of ANC playtime on a single charge. You can also get 2 hours of playtime in just 20 minutes thanks to fast charging.
They come in Black Anthracite and Sand Gold Tone colors, are sweat and water-resistant and feature interchangeable ear tips. They also feature Qi wireless charging and a spacecraft-grade aluminum case. Connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 5.2 and they have an IP54 water rating. Thanks to their Made for iPhone tag they could be some of the best true wireless earbuds we've seen lately, and could challenge Apple's AirPods Pro for a premium listening experience.
They'll be available from August 19 for $399 worldwide.
