Preorders for AirTag are now live!
Today at 5:00 a.m. PDT, preorders for Apple's helpful little tracker went live on the Apple Store website and the Apple Store app. Customers who want to preorder AirTag can do so by either ordering a single AirTag for $29 or a 4-pack of AirTags for $99. You can also choose to personalize your AirTags with emojis or some text.
AirTag will be next Friday on April 30, so orders placed tomorrow should expect to show up as soon as that date.
Apple originally announced AirTags at its 'Spring loaded' event earlier this week.
Apple today introduced AirTag, a small and elegantly designed accessory that helps keep track of and find the items that matter most with Apple's Find My app. Whether attached to a handbag, keys, backpack, or other items, AirTag taps into the vast, global Find My network1 and can help locate a lost item, all while keeping location data private and anonymous with end-to-end encryption. AirTag can be purchased in one and four packs for just $29 and $99, respectively, and will be available beginning Friday, April 30
Kaiann Drance, Apple's vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, said that its built-in privacy and security features set AirTag apart from other trackers.
