Apple's Back to School promotion, which features savings as well as free products for students, has launched in more countries around the world.
As reported by MacRumors, Apple has launched its yearly Back to School promotion in a number of countries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Back to School deals are available to students and educators in countries that include the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand.
The promotion for students in those countries is the same as it was for those in the United States, Canada, and New Zealand earlier this year. Students who purchase select models of the Mac and iPad can not only save on their new computer or tablet but get a free pair of AirPods as well.
The free AirPods offer is for the 2nd generation AirPods that support wireless charging. If students want, they can even upgrade to the AirPods Pro for an additional fee.
In order to be eligible for the Back to School promotion, a number of countries use the UNiDAYS system, an international verification system that ensures you are in fact a student if you are seeking a student discount. In addition to making you eligible for Apple education discounts and promotions, UNiDAYS also offers discounts at a wide range of other retailers.
Apple is also expected to announce new versions of its AirPods earbuds later this year as well as the expected redesign of a 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.
