Nomad releases Base Station Mini, a mini version of its wireless charger

Nomad continues to flesh out its charging portfolio.

What you need to know

  • Nomad has launched the Base Station Mini, a wireless charger for the iPhone and AirPods.
  • It has also released its own 20W USB-C Power Adapter.

Nomad, a popular brand that makes premium accessories for a range of Apple products, has launched two new products to help you charge on the go and at home.

The first of the new products is the Base Station Mini. Based on the larger Base Station, the wireless charger will let you charge one device at a time like an iPhone 12 or AirPods Pro.

Introducing Base Station Mini, designed to provide a convenient, scratch-free surface for you to charge your device. This single coil charger is the perfect addition to any size nightstand or desk.

iMore had the chance to review the original Base Station and called it the "ideal replacement for AirPower."

"Nomad's Base Station is a beautiful charging accessory. It's sleek, covered in leather, and looks like it belongs on the desk of a Fortune 500 CEO. The Base Station: Apple Watch Edition is one of the few on the market that competently charges three devices at once; iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods with a wireless Charging Case."

Here are all of the features of the Base Station Mini:

  • Black padded leather surface
  • Zinc frame
  • Single 15W Qi Coil
  • Includes a 2M USB-C Cable (does not include power adapter)

The Base Station Mini costs $60 and is available on the Nomad website.

The company has also released a 20-watt USB-C Power Adapter to help you keep devices like your iPhone 12 quick charged while you are on the go.

Next, our 20W USB-C Power Adapter, this product was designed to be taken on the go and provide a quick charge wherever you may be.

  • USB-C 20W Output
  • DoE Level VI certified
  • Polycarbonate body

The 20W USB-C Power Adapter is available for $19 directly from Nomad.

Both products are available now directly through the Nomad website.
