Apple opens new Rosenthaler Straße store in Berlin

Apple has today opened Apple Rosenthaler Straße in Berlin, its second store in the city located in the Mitte borough of Berlin.

Apple stated:

Apple today previewed Apple Rosenthaler Straße, the first Apple Store in the Mitte borough of Berlin. Situated on the eastern side of the capital city, Apple Rosenthaler Straße provides easy access for customers to discover new products just in time for the holidays and develop skills to take their creativity to the next level.

Apple's SVP of Retail + People, Deirdre O'Brien, said the company was excited to open its second store in Berlin and that "blending Apple's exceptional technology and tools with the creative passion we share with this community gives us the opportunity to create something really special for our customers in Germany."

Upon opening, Today at Apple will feature Berlin artists from Parallel Universe, who will be doing live drawings on iPad Pro. Next year today at Apple Creative Studios will arrive at the store.

The new store is located near Hackesche Höfe and features a seven-meter high floor-to-ceiling window at the front, as well as a Forum and video wall. It also features a dedicated Pickup station, the first of its kind in Europe.

The store will open from 10 am CET but only for appointments for shopping and store introductions, walk-ins, Apple pickup, and Genius Bar services will all be available from Friday, December 3. Entrants must provide proof of 2G status, and wear a mask and adhere to social distancing.
