New figures indicate Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso is still in the top 10 of the most-watched shows in the U.S. ahead of its season 2 launch.
According to figures from Reelgood shared with iMore indicate Ted Lasso was number six in the top 10 of U.S. shows in the past seven days. Apple TV+'s new show Physical also made the top 10 at number seven, in a week where Disney+ thriller Loki took the top spot.
Ted Lasso's resurgence in popularity likely comes ahead of the show's second season debuting on Apple TV+ on July 23. From Apple:

But what he lacks in knowledge, he makes up for with optimism, underdog determination … and biscuits. The widely acclaimed series also stars Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed. Sarah Niles joins the cast this season as Sharon, a sports psychologist who has been brought in to work with AFC Richmond.
With season two just weeks away, Apple has also confirmed it has renewed Ted Lasso for season 3:
Following its breakout first season and early second season renewal, Apple TV+ has renewed "Ted Lasso" for a third season, ahead of its second season start of production in London early January. Since its premiere on 14 August, 2020, critics and fans globally have hailed the series as "terrific," "hilarious," "heart-swelling" and "infectious."
